Please note that the best brewed with list is not comprehensive and does not dictate that the coffees cannot be brewed with any other methods. These are the the methods we think will extract the best possible cup. However, this coffee can be ground and enjoyed with any brew method that you desire.
Cupper's Notes
Woodway Estate's washed lot is the consummate daily brew. This specific lot was dropped into the cooling tray at 205°C. It's a medium roast on the lighter side of medium with a distinct caramelised dates meet orange zest type profile, drinkable with or without milk. Lush body, adequate sweetness and pleasantly middling acidity.
About The Origin
Woodway Estate is located the midst of the Bababudan Giri Range or the Chandradrona parvata range of hills at elevations of (up to) 4500 feet / 1371 MASL.
According to the estate, the plantations making up Woodway Estate are also certified under The Wildlife Friendly Enterprise Network umbrella as the worlds first Wildlife friendly Coffees (under group certification of ECOM’s Rainforest UTZ alliance certifications).
