[Feb 26th] Because Byculla - A Tree Walk in the bylanes of Byculla by Sananda Mukhopadhyaya

Join us as Sananda Mukhopadhyaya introduces us to commonly seen trees in the city, interspersed with excerpts from literature. The edition of the walk will be held in multicultural bylanes of Byculla.

Sananda Mukhopadhyaya is a theatre maker and arts based educator. Having grown up with biologist parents she developed a kinship with the natural world especially Trees. Through her  tree walk titled ‘Mumbai Overstory’, she aims to make people more aware of the trees they share this island with and hope this knowledge brings a spark of joy and wonder to their daily Mumbai lives.

Post the walk, we will visit Subko Coffee and Bombay Sweet Shop in Byculla for coffee and sweets!
