Vinyl Record shopping pop-up at The Craftery this Saturday 23rd April + Curated music programming across various genres + Specialty Coffee Brews + Craft Bakes.

Record Store Day is an annual event inaugurated in 2007 to celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store. A day for the people who make up the world of the record stores —the staff, the customers, and the artists—to come together and celebrate the unique culture of record stores and the special role these independently owned stores play in their communities.

This year, as another Subculture by Subko initiative, we’re joining forces with The Revolver Club to host the first ever Record Store Day at The Craftery by Subko (Byculla East) - Bombay - 23rd April 2022 - 11 am onwards. The Revolver Club has led the vinyl culture revolution in India hosting the first ever Record Store Day event in India way back in 2017. They provide a tightly curated library of records across genres as well offering a range of thoughtfully assembled Stereos and High Fidelity Sound Systems that provide a true listening experience across all kinds of budgets.

Record Store Day 2022 in partnership with The Revolver Club at The Craftery will look at a day-long curation across various genres of music including Hindustani Classical, Indie, Jazz, Experimental Electronica and other timeless gems. The folks from The Revolver club will set up a vinyl-only retail space inside Subko’s roastery where anyone can come experience what it is like to be crate-digging for records. All of this, while Subko’s Specialty Coffee & Bakehouse offerings stand as usual.
