About The Event: A Japanese art of mending broken ceramics with gold
Come spend an evening putting something back together.
Kintsugi is a centuries-old Japanese craft of mending broken pottery with gold-dusted lacquer, not to hide what's cracked, but to honour it as part of the piece's story. This hands-on workshop will walk you through the technique so you can repair a ceramic of your own, gold seams and all, and take home a little reminder that broken things can still be beautiful.

What to carry: Just yourself - all materials are provided.

• Introduction to Kintsugi — history, philosophy, and technique
• Hands-on Mending — repairing ceramics using gold-dusted lacquer
• Finishing Touches — personalising your piece
